Kylie recording new album with RedOne

Kylie Minogue is working on her new album with RedOne. It was announced via their Twitter pages.

RedOne tweeted:

The records are craaaaazy:-) she is just Ammmazing!!!

And followed it up with:

I meant Kylie!!! As I am with her for few days

Kylie also commented, saying :

RedOne is still getting around. It was announced the other day that he was in the studio again with Alexandra Burke, he's been working with Livvi Franc on her debut album, and with the Sugababes for their upcoming and way overdue album Sweet 7.

Looking at it from an un-biased point of view, the Sugababes recent releases (About a Girl, Wear My Kiss) which involved collaboration with RedOne weren't exactly knock-outs (let be honest, they were pretty shit). So it begs the question whether RedOne actually lives up to his hype.

He's seems to be turning into the Tim Henman of the recording world. Everyone loves him and hypes him up to be brilliant, but he's actually quite average. His only success is when he collaborates with Lady Gaga, and my feeling is that she steers his creativity and pushes the songs production more than he does.

Let's just hope that Kylie's new songs are better than the Sugababes.
